Prabowo is ready to answer questions about human rights
Channel Nasional. Spokesperson for the National Winning Body (BPN) Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Uno, Andre Rosiade stressed, Prabowo was ready to be asked about Human Rights (HAM) on the 2019 Presidential Election (Pilpres) debate agenda on January 17. According to him, there were no worries about facing the debate.
"I want to underline, Mr. Prabowo is ready to answer the question about human rights. Mr. Prabowo and Bang Sandi are ready to answer and deal with it. There is no slightest concern from us," he said.
Andre also reminded, in Jokowi-Jusul Kalla's joy in the field of law there was a promise to resolve cases of past human rights violations. "So if you want to complete human rights, Mr. Jokowi has become a four-year president, not resolved," he said.
Therefore, Andre hopes that the Jokowi-Ma'ruf National Campaign Team (TKN) does not build a narrative that corners Prabowo. Because, Jokowi has been given time for four years with his position as president but has not yet completed past human rights violations.
"So we are ready to face questions about human rights, there is no problem, this attack on Pak Prabowo is like a broken cassette, which is repeated every five years," he said.
The debate of the inaugural 2019 presidential election will be held on January 17, 2019 at Hotel Bidakara, Pancoran, Jakarta. At this debate, the theme was raised about law, human rights, corruption and terrorism. The implementation and technical debate of the presidential and vice presidential candidates had been agreed upon by the KPU, Jokowi-Ma'ruf TKN, and Prabowo-Sandi BPN.
Technically, the debate of the 2019 presidential and vice presidential election pair was held for 120 minutes. The debate was held five times and all were held in Jakarta. The first debate will bring together two presidential and vice presidential couples. The second debate was held between participants only. The third debate was held between the representatives.
